Lost something?
This was the place.
From 2018 to 2021 this domain was “Lost Articles, India” — a free noticeboard for lost and found things.
Before it, a placeholder. After it, someone else’s website wearing a casino’s name.
“Lostarticles will act as a policing agent.”
The project
An online “FIR” for lost belongings, pets and people. A disclaimer, a Success Story page that stayed empty, and a Facebook page. 2018–2021.
How it worked
Search the found list first. Report with a REWARD if you like. Ask for ID before handing anything back. Flag it RETURNED. Say thank you.
The project’s public pages are quoted and summarised. The report lists were behind a login and never archived; no personal information is reproduced.
2026A NAME WITH A PAST. A SITE WITH A FUTURE.
A small, earnest idea.
Its success page stayed empty.
The site asked finders to be honest, owners to be grateful, and everyone to search before they posted. It hoped to fill a Success Story page with returned marksheets and wallets. When the archive looked, the page had a heading and nothing under it — which is often how small civic projects go, and no less worth remembering.
We’re following the snapshots and being honest about the gaps. Come take a look around.

It holds no reports and relays no messages. Start with the place you lost it, or the local police station. The old /help/, /page/ and /report/ addresses redirect to the archive.
